Our value chain begins in the forest, and the wood raw material is our most important input. To minimize transport and environmental impact, the ambition is to always purchase as much of the wood as possible from the local areas around the mills.

About the position

We are now looking for engaged process operators who want to join us on our journey into the future. The workplace is linked to our common operations center for recycling and the fiber line.

Two people work in the operator area and are jointly responsible for all sub-sections and ensuring that the process runs in the best possible way.

The work consists largely of monitoring the process, operational management, sampling, and control rounds. The position also includes starting and stopping before maintenance actions that occur according to established routines.

Your profile

As a person, you are risk-aware and prioritize safety, you have analytical skills and a sense of responsibility, as well as a strong personal drive.

You are completely open to further development and change and understand the importance of working with continuous improvements. Collaboration is a given, as the position involves continuous cooperation in the operator area and other operations.

Qualifications

• Industrial program, preferably with a focus on process industry, natural sciences, technology, YH education, or what the company deems equivalent
• Work experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in paper and pulp, is an advantage
• Good computer skills
• B driver's license

Meritorious

• Certification of solid fuel boiler or soda boiler
• Experience with mixers (causticizing, mesh furnace)
• Cooking certification
• Bleaching certification

Start: By agreement, considering any notice period

• Location: Vallviks Bruk outside Söderhamn
• Extent: Full-time
• Continuous shift work, 6-shift
• Other: Vallviks Bruk conducts alcohol and drug tests according to policy before employment
